Well, today was spent in an unexpected way - in the ER! Poor Dail went out on a group bike ride, and ended up locking wheels with Ronnie and crashed, hard! He fractured his finger on his right hand (it is in a soft cast) and had deep enough cuts on his left hand for stitches. If that wasn't enough, he has serious road rash on his leg and face - they would have stitched above his eye, but there literally wasn't enough skin left to stitch. We have to call a hand surgeon on Monday to get him in and find out if he will need a pin in his right hand. So why the slight smile you may ask? It is morphine induced!!! Say a prayer that his hand can heal without further intervention. And Kevin, if you are reading this - it's killing Dail to think he may not be able to ride with you when you come!
