So only 3 boys showed up last weekend for Aidan's soccer game. Three FOUR YEAR OLD boys -to play the WHOLE game....yikes! Especially given Aidan was one of them, and on a good day, soccer is something he does for the social side - not for the game/athleticism/team aspect. He started out good (as the first picture shows) and gradually it disintegrated. First as the middle picture depicts, he was waving his arms and talking to an invisible person, or spinning in circles with his eyes closed. Later, all 3 boys decided it was more fun to play in the dirt on the field (mid play no less) than it was to actually try to play soccer. The final score was 11 -3 , and the other team actually scored 13 of the 14 goals - 11 for them and 2 for us!!! We often joke that our coaches must really be doing some kind of penance for past wrong doings to be coaching our team!

That game was hilarious! Aidan looks like he is channeling the Holy Spirit waving his hands in the air with his eyes closed. Fr. Hoa might be right about his priestly calling!
